Booked a T-Shape 2 session at Peak Physical Medicine. Office is easy to find, clean and welcoming. Treatment was done by Katie. She was great! She explained the process, answered my questions, and made me feel comfortable. I had my face and neck treated. No pain, just very warm sensation, nothing intolerable. After my session was completed there was redness that lasted 1/2 day but I immediately noticed a reduction in puffiness, an improved jawline and smoother skin. My appointment at Peak Physical Medicine was for the TSHAPE 2 facial treatment.  The place was very clean and welcoming.  Everyone there was very friendly and personable. My journey for TMJ pain management has been extensive from sleeping with double night guards, an arthrocentesis procedure to 5 rounds of botox. Jaw pain/tightness and migraines were unbearable. I found Dr Garcia and Peak medicine when searching for local massage therapy or physical therapy for t m j and came across his page. After evaluation, doctor garcia recommended shockwave therapy for my jaw.And let me tell you it was amazing. It hurt so GOOD! You have to experience it to understand and no not painful where you cant bear it because you dan literally feel the pain you have going away instantly. I just completed eighteen sessions of shockwave therapy and have had no migraines and no tightness or pain in my jaw since starting therapy. I threw my back out, couldn't even lift up my baby without excruciating pain. My sister recommended this Dr. I have never been to a chiropractor before so I was nervous. The office was comfortable and the staff was so polite it made me instantly comfortable. The Dr was also so attentive and asked all the right questions to narrow down the issue. I was in and out within 20 minutes and had almost no pain while leaving. Next day it was completely gone. Highly recommend visiting! I was skeptical when I first came in. I wasn't able to stand for more than a minute without being in excruciating pain, but now after just 2 months of treatment I can stand all day again! It's a crime that this isn't covered by insurance because it's miracle work! Also, the staff are super friendly and cool people! Every day I came in I felt very welcomed. They even so efficiently that the only thing capable of slowing them down is when a bunch of new patients come in at the same time and they still get things done in a timely manner! What a great experience! I completed 18 sessions of the red light therapy along with a weight loss program and was so pleased with the results. In 8 weeks I not only surpassed my 20 pound goal, I lost over 2 inches off my waist and also my thighs. The staff is so supportive and encouraging that it made the experience even that much better.
